About RAIN Resources

Dedicated to your Epic success. Like none other.

Since its inception in 2004, RAIN Resources has helped healthcare organizations manage projects to desired outcomes. We have supported 14,000+ Epic Go-Live provider shifts across 50+ hospitals and 140+ clinics throughout the U.S. That support includes peer-to-peer, at the elbow support from physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other professionals who use Epic in their medical practices or hospitals. Unlike "consulting” firms with a staff software team model, RAIN Resources offers true peer support for the professionals in your organization — not just a software person who knows Epic.

History

At a client’s request in 2005, RAIN Resources launched (and continues to manage) the Minnesota Epic User Group. This process included the establishment of an executive-level Board of Directors of CIO’s and CMIO’s representing the 8 large Epic implementations in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. Once the MNEUG was established, the MNEUG Board of Directors asked RAIN Resources to develop a go-live support services model that would allow their 8 organizations to "share” their employees to support their upcoming Epic go-lives. This model, developed in conjunction with the MNEUG Board of Directors, continues to be RAIN Resources successful model for go-live support today.
